The Middle Way Publications was established to publish thoughtful and accessible works that engage with life's enduring questions. While many of our early publications draw upon Buddhist teachings, our broader aspiration is to explore wisdom, ethics, meaning, and human flourishing through clear, rigorous, and contemplative writing.

Through careful writing and thoughtful presentation, we seek to create works that speak both to the intellect and to lived experience.

Our Vision

The Middle Way Publications was founded with the aspiration to publish works that encourage thoughtful inquiry, careful reflection, and a deeper understanding of the human condition. We believe that books have the capacity not only to inform, but also to challenge assumptions, broaden perspectives, and support meaningful personal transformation.

Our vision is to create a body of work that remains relevant across cultures and generations by engaging with enduring questions of meaning, wisdom, ethics, and human flourishing. Through accessible and contemplative writing, we hope to inspire readers to investigate these questions for themselves and to bring greater clarity, understanding, and compassion into their lives.

Publishing Philosophy

The publishing philosophy of The Middle Way Publications places depth above popularity and understanding above persuasion. We believe that valuable ideas deserve careful reflection rather than quick consumption, and that the most meaningful books are those that continue to reveal new insights over time.

Our aim is not merely to inform, but to invite readers to investigate, question, and verify for themselves through study, contemplation, and direct experience. We are committed to publishing works that are intellectually rigorous, experientially grounded, and accessible to thoughtful readers from all backgrounds.

About the Founder

The Middle Way Publications was founded by Anup Poudyal, author, educator, and founder of Singbowls. His work draws upon many years of study, practice, teaching, and personal reflection within contemplative traditions, with a particular interest in Buddhism, philosophy, sound, and direct experience.

Through writing, Anup seeks to bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and contemporary life by presenting complex ideas in a clear, practical, and accessible manner. His aspiration is to create works that encourage thoughtful inquiry, careful reflection, and direct engagement with life's enduring questions.
